Quick report

Column tests had mixed results, with one ECTX and one ECTP13 down 37cm. It appears to have failed at the new/old snow interface from earlier this week. Given the other observations from south/southwest aspects the class will conduct targeted observations on those aspects in an effort to gather more data. No signs of instability

Winds were light out of the west/southwest gusting to moderate, mostly transporting snow from trees to leeward aspects. Visibility was occasionally good enough to see the bottom of Skooks Chutes.

Snowpack

Snowpack structure is complex with varying degrees of hardness within each of the layers we identified. ~37cm of new snow from the recent storms including earlier in the week. Column tests with mixed results.
