-Snowpack is thin till 5800', and the alder is overhead approaching the upper drainage - We skied variable snow and quality - Stiff 4-6'' nonreactive grabby wind slab with 1-2'' of NSFs on top made up the majority of travel and riding surfaces - No propagation in pit test W-NW aspect at 6800' - Observed cross loaded features across drainage on Furlong -Lower drainage held soft noncoshesive NSFs knee deep in some protected areas (best riding quality) -Views were spectacular with a midmorning afternoon shortwave passage over the alpine peaks, snow in our drainage was s-1 most the day with winds sustained light and variable wind -Moderate sized cornice growth on North to Southeast ridge lines
