We found better than expected riding at the Grove and didn't see any cracking or collapsing. I suspect that could be different in places that the wind has formed a slab on top. The few inches of new snow was easily transported by wind.

- <p>New snow average 3 inches to blow around into starting zones. Clouds were moving quickly and conditions were cold and breezy. Enough to fill in the skin track at the ridge.</p> <p>Weak existing snow is bonding poorly. (Sloughs) wind has formed slabs in places on top.</p>
