Loading increased as we moved west along the north side of Tuckerman ravine. Soft slabs triggered were newly transported snow (fine rounds) from previous 12 hours running atop wind slabs formed previous day (broken Stella’s, rods). Areas located with snow layered in this nature were highly reactive. Wind slabs from previous day bonding moderately well to MFC that has been lasting the last few months in start zones. Snow transport increased throughout the day.

Multiple intentionally triggered dry loose and soft slab avalanches in various south/east facing runs in Tuckerman. Snowpack collapsing only experienced in isolated areas of old snow on lionshead gully #2 below existing MFC.
