Quick report

Very dense layer @ 100cm sheared off in a single chunk to the ground in isolated column. The pit location is in a wind-loaded area, which explains the dense snow. The wet snow that we got early in the storm seems to have congealed with the existing snow pack, while the colder temps resulted in the top layer to be very soft. No avalanches observed

Temps dropped during the storm, causing a shift from wetter "cement" snow like we experienced last year to drier, softer snow.
