Quick report
About 1 inch of new snow on top of soft faceted snow. Skiing was generally good in untracked areas. Warm and windy with active snow transport. Snowpack was variable in depth, but where I dug a pit it was surprisingly deep at 270cm (4500ft SW aspect). No formal tests, though snowpack was pretty homogenous, transitioning from about 5-10cm of 4F new snow and near surface facets to 1F/P for the top 60cm or so with no obvious crusts. I suspect that this gulley was somewhat anomalous and doesnt represent the wider snowpack very well at all.
