Quick report
We have been tracking a variety of avalanches in Summit Lake that likely failed on a weak layer. Larger avalanches occuring from ~2,800' to near ridgetops look like they failed on a layer of weak snow in the lower half of the snowpack or at the ground.
Medium to large mid slope avalanches look like they failed on a weak layer, possibly facets above or below the holiday crust. We have not seen these since the Jan 12 storm, however, snow may have covered these avalanches from this last storm.

Numerous small to medium sized avalanches were observed on west faces that looked like they failed in the storm snow or from a wind slab (D1-D2). Larger avalanches are shared in the Avalanche Section/Tab.
