Some cornice formation on the crater rim, and signs of wind deposited snow. Dug a quick pit just below the rim to a depth of 165 cm. From the surface: 5 cm of fist snow comprised of partially rimmed broken precipitation particles, then 150 cm broken precipitation particles, fist at the top and 1F by the bottom. 20+ cm melt freeze poly crystals pencil hardness. CT11BRK 5 cm down on interface that showed a lot of needle like crystals and CT12RP 20 cm down. Deep tap test on the crust+20 cm showed no reactivity. Crust had a temperature of -2.5 C and 10 cm above was -2.2 C.
