Inversion with a valley fog around halfway up the common uptrack on Seattle Ridge. Clear skies above the fog with a light breeze coming from N/NW. Obvious cornices built in Zero Bowl from winds the day before. New storm snow was stable, but there were small isolated wind slabs on complex N facing terrain. The S facing spines were also beginning to point-release on the dark rocky outcroppings later in the day. One slope we skied had noticably less powder snow than the rest, it potentially naturally released mid-storm.

Two D1 wind slabs broke on N aspects on the chute-laiden side of Zero Bowl. Visible wind-effected snow guarded the entrance to many of the chutes which made for predicitable failures. The longer of the two paths was triggered by a member of our group who was able to feel the wind slab under foot before it failed. He was able to easily avoid being caught by the moving snow.
