We remotely triggered a decent sized avalanche across the canyon as we went to a lookout point. We had already completed an ECT test showing a depth of 5'5" with about 8" of facets still hanging out at the bottom. The upper layers of snow are dense and bonding well with each other except the facets are showing no sign of healing yet. Over all the snow pack is still very weak and unstable we again experienced whomping while doing the ECT test.
