Today finally felt like winter. In general I was expecting to find more signs of instability with so much water coming down the last few days. We really didn't observe any signs of instability to speak of today. The most interesting thing from a snowpack perspective was just how wet the snow is below the new storm snow. Even though the grains were fairly large (and fairly weak at the bottom of the snowpack) all of it is pretty saturated. I'm not sure i've ever seen anything quite like it this time of year.

Snowpack

Around 15" of new snow (from the latest storm cycle) around ~8300 ft.
