Blowing and snowing all day. Continuous snowfall S1 (1cm/hr) increasing to ~S2 (2cm/hr) after 1400. Graupel was observed in the morning to afternoon hours. Could create some short term instability of new snow with current storm. Moderate SW wind actively transporting snow, especially above 8500'. Winds slabs were less than a foot deep and reactive on steep leeward N terrain. Dry loose and decent sloughing also observed on steep N terrain. New snow is falling on mostly preserved stellars and wind packed surfaces. New snow stability will be dependent on snowfall rate and wind influence. Expect wind slabs to build by tomorrow if winds continue at current intensity.
