Working on fixing the Dan K memorial station. In flat terrain, HS is about 40 to 45 cm, unsupportive to boot but snowmobile pen is hanging in there at about 15 cm. The snow surface has some pockets of small surface hoar and widespread near surface facets 2 to 2.5 mm in size, mostly fist with some firmer snow in wind affected areas.
