Skied up from the main parking lot at Arctic Valley resort on a south facing aspect. Lots of open vegetated spots (see photo) and areas of wind packed and soft snow up to 12 inches deep. In a relatively flat area near the top of the tubing run I had an isolated but relatively large collapse/settling of the snow pack. No cracking observed. No pits or other tests conducted.
