Quick report
Got soaked to the bone at Marion today. The rain/snow line appeared to be high above the lake, >6400’. We bailed from our original plan of skiing into the S fork of Dickey Creek, and turned around at Marion. There was a very high water content in all snow observed. Small natural wet loose avalanches observed in steep terrain of all aspects.

The rain ranged from light sprinkles to sustained moderate rain over 2-3 hours. It was still sprinkling along the entire MF as we drove home.
Snowpack
The snow was completely saturated up to Marion Lake, and appeared to be saturated up to ridgelines due to the fact that there wasn’t much snow on the trees up high.
