Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Slides in the sidehill for the last 1/2 mile before before reaching Strawberry Lake left 6” crowns where triggered but stepped all the way down to near the base of the ~30” snowpack, suggesting a shallow weak layer and a deeper weak layer. We also saw signs of wind loading and shooting cracks starting above 6,000 feet, prompting us to turn around.
