Quick report
Found large widespread surface hoar up to ~3000'. Above 3000' no surface faceting was noted. Settled storm slab was dense and unreactive with a few shallow non reactive windslabe mixed in. Pit results in a protected piece of terrain between two ramps showed a dense mostly right side up slab ~3 feet deep. ECT and PST did not produce any significant results on stability tests. Facets beneath the most recent storm slab were dense and unreactive in stability tests. Faceted grains near the base of the snowpack were large and showing signs of rounding. Spatial variablility of the the ovelying slab and facets beneath keep uncertainty high. In this location triggering a deep slab avalanche is unlikely but would carry high consequences.

Snowpack
Below 2700' there is a supportable rain crust making human triggered avalanches very unlikely
Surface Hoar growth is significant up to 3000' with grains of 2cm observed
Above 3000' snow structure is variable at the base, however no signs of instability were noted.
Facets near the base of the snowpack are more dense with higher strength obseved than what is found between 2500-3500. Some rounding was observed at facets and depth hoar near the base of the snowpack at 4400.
