Quick report

Went out to road runs today. Roughly 2 ft of new, heavy snow. Winds were light to moderate, with snowy weather all the way down the run. There were a lot of signs of wind moving snow, as well as small cornices. The snowpack was pretty shallow near ridgelines, but in other places there were deep pockets of snow. Saw quite a few cracks as well as wind slab avalanches, with the biggest avalanche appearing on the Wall. A very small wind slab avalanche was remotely triggered on the Wall as well. No pits were dug. Overall what I saw today was nothing different from what I initially thought conditions were going to be like.
