Thielses SW face and West ridge showed significant signs of wind scouring and a generally shallow pack varying from 130cm to 50cm in observed locations. SW aspects showed a notable ice layer 25cm deep with a hard slab on top with moderate strength in hand shear tests. Significant warming throughout the day was observed with the snow begining to move into a corn cycle. Snow was soft and fun to ski at 9,000' at ~12pm. No signs of recent avalanche activity were noted despite the recent 3 days of warming and the snow pack is likely to continue consolodating as we move into a stable spring snow pack.
