Snowpack

We found about a foot of soft snow on top of the 12/19 crust which made for much improved riding conditions.  The main layer concern was a thin layer of fist hard facets just below the 12/17 crust.  This layer failed on issolation durring a compression test and propagated with strong force on an ECT (6000ft elevation NE aspect).  The faceting below the 12/19 crust was much stronger on southern aspects and scored ECTX and CT18 (5900ft).  Lower elevations still have a very low snowpack.  There was roughly a foot at Lookout pass (4600ft) and the depth was consistent till about 5500ft.
