Quick report
We found a couple of inches of low-density snow (4%SWE) at the trailhead and maybe 4" at mid- and upper elevations. Solar aspects had a very stout and slick crust from last week's warm-up under the new snow. We saw a couple of sets of glide cracks that had opened up last week near the treeline on S and E aspects, but only one had failed. The winds were erratic today, depositing the new snow into small soft slabs in interesting locations near tree line and above
