Observed a recent avalanche in East Bowl of the Anthracites on 12/31. On the skin track up we noticed isolated whumpfing around 10,880' N facing aspect. No other signs of instability noted, but did not proceed higher once we experienced the whumpfing.

Avalanche may have run overnight as it did not appear to be there when we looked at East Bowl on 12/30, but visibility was poor on 12/30.
