My friend and I decided to go check out his reported avalanche. Got to it at 1:30PM. Fresh snow is mix powder, sticky. Although we have had overcast, we feel that there has been a greenhouse effect keeping the snow just at freezing. There is breakable crust under 6-10” new snow. Wind has been low <10mph except ridge lines, around 20mph.
