Snowpack

Supportable snow for walking around down to the valley floor after the storm on 11/29. While there is enough to walk around, once you venture into the woods it becomes apparent that sliding downhill anywhere besides the road is not a great idea. A few inches of medium density snow fell during the storm, but quickly faceted out with cold night time temps and some clear skies. Upper steep north facing slopes had some small point releases, as did lower south facing slopes. It was nice to take a walk on skis, but we are a storm or two out from skiing down.
