Rode Halcyon today with the goal of staying close to the eastern edge of the canyon, to reduce the risk of overhead hazard elsewhere further east. A night of wind and blowing snow had us calling laps early to avoid some dust-on-crust that slipped pretty easily on the old wind blasted surface right at treeline.
Bailed at 1:30 after a highway worker told us about the storm, didn't chance more afternoon laps.
Popped a small 6" wind loaded layer on a convexity halfway up, but very small.
