Quick Observation

General summary of the weekend. New snow (30 to 45cm) everywhere. More resting on west aspects. Very unconsolidated and not bonding at all to wind crusts below causing many point releases and loose dry size .5 to 1's. Where no windcrust below, bonding better. Very little wind saturday and sunday so lots of treeline+ snow available for transport. Ski pen 30-45cm, foot pen 45+ cm. Snow firmed up considerably once hit with the low angle sun Sunday afternoon.

Avalanche Information

Many loose dry slides in one of the pictures, running well on the steep slopes. One skier reported picking off a small deeper layer in unsupported Fayzures terrain, 60ish cm deep crown.

Weather

Generally, there is a lot of snow in open areas and at high elevations available for transportation when the winds do pick up. I suspect this will be deposited in the lee on a thick layer of unconsolidated storm snow. If that snow is on an old wind crust from the outflow event, it will be slower to bond and conditions will be touchy.
