Tree line travel.

It still feels like winter at white pass. Gone are the bluebird skies and hero snow of yesterday. The day was overcast, snowing less than 1cm per hour with minimal accumulation. Temps warmed to -4c above Fraser. The winds were moderate from the south west. We didn’t find much in the way of new windslab development at tree line. We tested multiple features with no significant results. A few pockets of windslab that did pop were smaller than our skis. We did find a new very thin sun crust on steep solar features / aspects - a result of yesterday afternoon’s solar input. Ski quality had deteriorated since yesterday.
