Log cabin whiteout!

Left the truck and Temp was -3, and at 1400m it was -2. We found a suncrust that was about 8cm thick and pretty difficult to ski on below 1100m on the south side of log cabin, but above we had about 5-10cm of new snow above a hard surface that skied really well actually. Right at ridge line we did find some deep snow in steep gulley features that was about 30cm deep and had loaded up with snow from the wind. When we traveled near it we saw some shooting cracks. With visibility so bad we took a conservative route down and had some great mellow skiing between 1300m and 1100m
