Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Traveled near the Stevens Pass ski area in Highland Bowl, Wenatchee Bowl, and See Yodelin. No collapsing was observed. Isolated a column of the storm snow and did an informal hand shear test. I had an easy/moderate shear at the 1/31 interface, but the new storm snow still has not stiffened into any sort of slab. Loose dry avalanches remained touchy and widespread. Debris from a D1 loose dry avalanche was observed directly beneath the peak of Big Chief Mountain in Wenatchee Bowl. I did trigger a very thin storm slab entering Wenatchee Bowl. 20250202 14:40: SS-ASc-R1-D1-S Wenatchee Bowl NW aspect 5800' 8 cm crown 30 m wide 50 m fall.
