Snow South of the Chair Peak E ridge was hardly wind affected at all, but the North side down towards cache couloir had superficial (~2") wind slabs in several places, and the snow in the couloir and on Snow Lake was somewhat wind affected as well (with~20mph E wind on the lake). Two slabs on steeper convexities were cracking up as we skied them but didn't propagate or run far. The difference in snow texture to the South side of the E ridge was remarkable.
