Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Deep low density snow. Stayed in low angled trees underneath 3 Way Peak. Wind gusts and snow flurries throughout the day but overall the weather was calm. Some open areas had some slight wind effect, but not enough to diminish skiing conditions. A few isolated cracks were seen when stepping on test slopes. The danger for triggering wind slabs very well could have increased if we had traveled higher in elevation. Dug a pit down to the Early Feb Crust. We didnt do a CT or ECT, but we were able to get the new storm snow to come off cleanly on a layer near the early feb crust when we pulled on the block in the pit.

Looking into Southback. Likely triggered by crystal mountain patrol
