Quick report

New snow felt generally well bonded underfoot, but natural activity observed in extreme terrain.

Avalanche

Natural avalanche in extreme north aspect terrain at 7000ft in Pica Bowl. Likely triggered by wind loading or small dry loose from high on ridge. Crown depth is mostly 24hr snow, but appears to step down to slightly deeper wind slab. Debris ran several hundred feet down Pica Bowl, but only released in extreme terrain.
