Quick report
Rock Mt. Trailhead 1 inch of fresh snow on top of icy crust early in the morning (8am). About 2 inches by the time we skied back (12.30). Upper elevations up to 6-10 inches. No instabilities: just sluffs on top of the crust, making for challenging skinning (new snow was not bonding to the crust). Snow at higher elevations was at times wet and sticking to our skins Some snow transport due to moderate south-westerly winds on the ridge between the South peak and summit. But still did not see any wind slabs forming just underneath the ridge. Due to very low visibility (~60 feet) we could not evaluate other areas near the summit. Coverage down low was enough to ski down to the TH, but several rocks were showing
