Quick report
The morning brought heavy snowfall, characterized by large, wet snowflakes. The combination of wet snow and warm temperatures led to notable surface effects: trees were dripping, roller balls formed on south-facing slopes, and by late afternoon, a crust had developed on the snow surface. No recent avalanches were observed; however, visibility was limited due to overcast skies and diffuse light conditions, which only began to clear in the late afternoon.

It was snowing hard in the morning until about 1100 and then flurries until mid afternoon with little accumulation after the overnight to 1100. It got warm and the surface snow was wet, later forming a crust on my walk out at 1930.

I'm unsure of the release date and if it was remote triggered from the ridge. I'm guessing this failed on buried surface during the December drought.
