Quick report
No obvious signs of instability. There were some recently wind-loaded slopes around 7500-8000'. Quick examination of snowpack on E-NE aspect at lower to middle elevation boundary showed good stability and snowpack structure. Wet loose slides were not a widespread problem by 2:30PM today when we left.

Cold start to this morning around Stanley. Light winds except brief intermittent gusty periods that blew snow out of trees.
Snowpack
Lower elevation S was producing rollerballs in very steep, sheltered, rocky terrain by early afternoon, but no wet loose activity. Flat terrain near 6700', all shady aspects, and W aspect around 7300-8000' were not getting damp or moist by 2:30PM.
7500E/NE: HS=170-195cm. First crust (3/10) was 40cm down. A few more thin crusts in upper meter, no well developed FC though. ECTX, and non-standard force did not produce any failure.
7500-8000': There were a couple of obviously wind-loaded slopes - E aspects with cross-loading from N winds.
