Skiing near Kicking horse mountain

Skied 1300-1950 m metres in the Kicking horse area, NE aspect, below tree line. Stayed off steep slopes and enjoyed the storm snow in lower angled trees. Some blocking of snow between skis while breaking trail but otherwise no signs of instability in storm snow. Did not observe any natural avalanches. Did observe some skier traffic steeping out into more exposed alpine terrain (east aspect, 2300 m).
