Quick report
Wet loose avalanches seemed likely from observations of similarly sloped areas where very small inconsequential slides were triggered earlier in the day. No new snow, but lots of warming as was predicted. We were cautious at lower elevations that seemed more sun affected, especially south facing. It seemed extremely easy to trigger wet loose slides at this elevation and south facing. We did not travel on slopes very large and open, and this was the largest slide we encountered.
Avalanche
Southeast facing slopes around 7500’. Triggered via side cut and stomp. No one caught. Approximately 25ft wide, 40ft long, and half a foot deep.
