Snowpack
2/26 melt-freeze crust on all aspects, crust was less pronounced on north-facing slopes. Light-density powder snow on top of the crust. In areas that were wind-loaded, you could not feel the crust while riding. We dug a pit and several hand pits on sheltered north-facing slopes to try and find surface hoar that was present before the storm beginning 2/26. We did not find any.
