We toured to Saddle MTN, and dug a pit on the S aspect 200ft below the summit at 8200'. Snow depth was 75cm. New snow seemed mostly bonded, with a 10cm layer of facets at the ground. ECT test was ECTP 24 at the facet layer. We got multiple collapses touring on S, E, and W aspects with collapses being most prominent on E aspects. We kept to moderate terrain and enjoyed crust free snow down to the creek.
