Snowpack

North aspects are dry and soft. No signs of instability, and the snowpack is well-bonded. The surface hoar that formed over previous nights was less prominent today, appearing to have been knocked over by wind or deteriorated by warm temps on Tuesday.

All solar aspects are crusted over. In spots, near-surface facets under the sun crust may be a weak layer when buried further. Sun warming was kept minimal today by southeast winds. The surface was moist by 1:00 pm but never progressed to the point of roller balls or loose wet conditions.
