Quick report
Took the skis for a walk to Lundin to see how the Commonwealth basin is holding up and what the new snow will fall on. HS ranged from 50-80cm down by the trailhead to 150-200cm at 4500ft at the base of Cocaine Couloir on Lundin. The snow from earlier in the week has improved surface textures, but not coverage. Surfaces are generally firm and ski supportable, but not so firm that ski crampons were needed. Had a few light flurries in the morning with the cloud deck beginning to drop around 11am. Snow picked up beginning around 1pm, but still S-1 when we left the field.
