Quick report

Overcast skies in the morning. Winds were moderate to strong and blowing snow around. Sun started to poke out around 12:30 in between clouds. It was hard to guess how much new snow hard fallen do to the wind moving it around. If I had to guess it was 1” to 2” of new snow. Wind was starting to form small wind slabs in places like along ridge lines 1”-4” thick and growing. Skiing was not very good. There is a thick crust on all aspects at the surface where there wasn’t new blown snow. Sometimes you could make a turn and stay on top other times you would all of sudden break through. Snow did not soften of solar aspects while I was out.
