Quick report

Thin conditions up to about 7000’. New snow was light and being loaded into north aspects along ridge and south was being scoured. Travel able but shark infested waters with many shrubs, logs, rocks lurking just below the new snow. Found almost a foot of new snow at 8000’. Stopped for a quick pit on a north aspect at around 8200’. Found almost 90 cms of snow and a general lack of prominent weak layers. Was able to make a snowball with the snow near the ground. Still needs more snow and settling but a good start for middle of November. Keep doing those snow dances!
