Quick report

Skied the East bowl of Jake’s peak. Starting at 7am the snow was very solid and needed ski crampons to ascend. Coverage was thin, but full coverage from 89 exists. We waited till 10am to ski the east bowl of Jake’s. At which time the snow exposed to the sun was 1F hardness. We skinned back up for a second lap and descended around 11:40, at which time the snow was 4F hardness. We were able to descend the east bowl drainage all the way to 89, although it was very thin. We saw no instability’s.
