Quick report
Over cast skies and high clouds kept the surface somewhat cooled. Surface was moist up to our high point at 5,000’ below the Easton Glacier. We observed some intentional small wet loose activity, but only in the upper most layer of saturated snow (4”) from Sunday/Monday and only on slopes steeper than about 35 degrees. Frequent small, loose naturals off of steep & rocky terrain on Monday with ongoing snow/rain. On Tuesday (2/3), surface snow was moist up to 5,000’. We experienced some small intentionally skier-triggered wet loose on moderately steep & planar terrain, but less than expected. No natural activity observed on Tuesday.
