Our group observed 2-3 collapses (whoomph) on flat terrain around 8000 feet later in the afternoon. Our group felt widespread collapses in the afternoon at locations around 8000 feet. Mixed results with snowpack tests, all performed on the same slope - NE/E aspect at 8300ft.
