Toured NE of Incline Peak to perform a snow profile on NE slope in near treeline terrain at 9551 ft. Clear skies. NE winds were light to moderate increasing to sustained moderate. Air temp measured at 9551 ft in shaded NE slope -11 deg C. The snowpack measured 180cm. No signs of instability or recent avalanches. The snow surface was variable from wind scoured to wind buff in exposed N, NE at or above treeline, breakable crust over soft snow and some cold soft snow in fully shaded spots below treeline in N, NE, and firm to icy on sun exposed S, SE, SW.
