We found about 20cm of new snow from last night that fell warm and heavy up to the top of Paul Ridge. We skied the north side of the ridge in open trees and the snow was less reactive overall than we expected. We didn't see any evidence of natural or skier-triggered slides or hear any whumpfing, but we did see some cracking as we skinned. Hand sheers moved new snow on last week's crust but there wasn't much consolidation. It warmed up by about 1 pm and the snow on the ground was getting much heavier and wetter as we were leaving.
