We skied the Anniversary Glacier back to Motel 66. There's some good skiing on the glacier, but a wind slab is building in the lee terrain just below the Anniversary Col. Below 1800m there's a rain crust, which can make for some very challenging skiing through the trees. A lot (>10) of Sz 1-2 Na observed from the past storm, particularly off steep, rocky, thin terrain on all aspects.
Above 1800m: 10-20cm of new snow is settling into the upper snowpack. No instabilities (whumpfing, cracking) observed. Below 1800m: A rain crust exists. In some places there is 5cm of new snow on this rain crust. Makes for challenging skiing at TL.
