Quick Observation

-2C at the car at 9:30am. Snow typically had a thin crust from previous few days warming. Crust was more pronounced on open, solar slopes. Above the skintrack, saw evidence of an older, very small rider triggered release on a small convexity. Snow was fun (5-10cm fresh) in dense trees above 1750m but quite heavy. Conditions quickly deteriorated in the afternoon as temperatures rose and rain started to fall. The snowpack was saturated and made for very challenging riding on the way down.. 3C(?) and raining at the car at 1:30pm.
